I have been waiting for a book on Muay Thai Boxing to come out in English and this has been more than worth the wait. It's a complete guide on everything you need to know on Muay Thai and the pictures make it so easy to follow and learn. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning the sport!
I found this book to be very practical and easy to understand. There was none of the filler stuff about the history of the sport. This is a training manual designed for those who really want to learn the art and are not just interested in the best ways to beat someone up. It includes chapters on not only offensive techniques but also defensive techniques and strategies for fighting against different styles of boxers. Information that is often missing from other Thai boxing books that I have read.
Another thing I really liked about this is that it's available in Thai and English, so if you were training with a Thai boxing trainer in Thailand you could have your copy in English and he could have his in Thai and you can discuss the different strategies and techniques together.
I cannot recommend this book enough.
This is a great book for anyone who wants to learn or expand their knowledge of the traditional art of kickboxing!
