At the tender age of eight, my father abducted me from our small town in Communist Slovakia. That day, I began my life as a nomad, constantly on the move from one country and city to the next. Over time, I found comfort and a sense of adventure in the shifting nature of meeting new people and basking in the wonder of the forever-changing scenery around me.
As a young adult, I sought freedom through a stream of moves, jobs, and new relationships all over the world. And yet, I still didn’t feel free. It wasn’t until more than twenty years after my abduction, while soaking in the sun on the idyllic sandy beaches of Santorini, that I discovered true freedom; the kind that originates from within when you allow yourself to honor and heal on destiny’s path

Brilliant! What a page turner. You will cry, you will laugh and will find yourself on a journey yourself. You have to get this book, if you're struggling with whatever life events or just to read an incredible story.
I have read this book three times and think it's amazing. The story of C.C. Dorrie's path to freedom teaches us to accept our destiny and make peace with the past, and to welcome the angels and adventures along the way. A great read!
